HOW OUR CLOTHES ARE MADE
We want you to feel good about wearing our clothes and using our products — not just because they offer you a way to show your support for animals and the environment, but also because they’re ethically and responsibly made.
Being transparent about our manufacturing process is important to us, so here’s everything you need to know about how our clothes and products are made.
Made to order, not to waste
We are an online store and we ship our products internationally. At first glance, that may seem to undermine our commitment to operating in an environmentally-friendly manner.
But consider this:
Traditional brick and mortar stores generally require goods to be shipped to them from long distances, they may regularly throw out or shred products they don’t sell, and their customers drive to their locations to shop.
Unlike most clothing brands, to the best of our ability, we print our clothes on demand. When we have extras, which occasionally happens due to minimum order volumes for garments, we donate them to our giving back partners or to people in need.
So far, we’ve donated 22,537 tees to organizations like the Salvation Army.
We also offset the carbon footprint of international shipping through eco-friendly shipping processes (which you can learn more about below), and by donating to environmental organizations.
With love for the planet
We’re doing our part to protect the planet and operate sustainably by minimizing the impact of our shipping and manufacturing processes. We do this by:
Donating 10% of our profits to animal rescue and environmental organizations
Shipping all orders in packaging made of biodegradable materials or recycled fabric
Using eco-friendly water-based ink
WHY WATER-BASED INK?
- It's free of dangerous chemicals like PVCs and phthalates
- It can be cleaned up using water - not harmful solvents
- It soaks into fabrics, so our designs move and stretch, without cracking or fading with wear

It’s our priority that everyone who works for us does so in a safe environment where they are ethically-treated. We ensure this in two ways:
1. Printing our clothing in the USA at socially and environmentally responsible companies
2. Making our clothing in the USA or in Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified factories around the globe

Continuously Striving for Better
We want to protect the planet as best we can - but we’re not perfect.
While we’re proud of our current ethical and eco-friendly manufacturing and shipping practices, and our commitment to supporting animal rescue and environmental organizations through our giving back program, we’re always striving to do better.
That’s why we're transitioning to making all our products out of 100% organic cotton and/or recycled materials, and working to find additional ethical manufacturers based in the USA and Canada.
